Eric began his career in education as a high school social studies teacher at James Monroe High School in Fredericksburg, VA. He then went on to teach 6th grade in Fairfax County before returning to grad school at UVA to earn his PhD. In addition to his work at JMU, Eric travels around the country to conduct professional development for school districts on various best practices in education. Eric currently lives in Crozet, VA.
