Originally established in 2005 to meet the educational and career needs of immigrant language learners, the Career Development Academy now serves all adults with a pathway to a high school diploma, a transition to work or college, and a tool to improve economic and career prospects.

With the External Diploma Program (EDP) addition, CDA is poised to offer all adult members of the Harrisonburg City - Rockingham County area a valuable and flexible pathway to a high school diploma and career development.

ESL - English as a second language (Leveled classes are designed to ensure adult students advance in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Morning, afternoon and evening classes are offered to suit varied work schedules.), click on "Course Schedule" link to the left for registration times and dates.

EDP - External Diploma Program: a local adult high school diploma - show what you know through a series of real-life activities, (diploma = more money), enroll anytime - just call 568-4828 now. Download our EDP brochure and our list of fees.

Need a Tutor to help you learn? Pay just $35.00 per hour (or any portion there of) for one-on-one tutoring in English, Math, Writing, etc. It could be exactly what you need to succeed in EDP, ESL Class, GED tests, or life! Call 568-8774.
