International Teachers in Residence

The College of Education has the honor and pleasure to be hosting this semester 16 international teachers representing the countries of India Brazil, Senegal, Morocco, Kenya , Egypt,  and Bangladesh.   All are seasoned teachers with a minimum of five years of teaching experience in the areas of English and Social Studies.  During their 16 weeks at JMU, they will be involved in an academic program and technology seminar designed specifically for them by faculty in the College of Education, auditing two JMU courses, participating in several cultural excursions and community service events, and developing modules on best teaching practices to bring to their home countries upon completion of the semester.
