Program Involvement:
- Teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in the K-12 Special Education program
Professional Experience and Interests:
- Taught K-5 special education for students with mild disabilities
- Served as a Curriculum Coach for Title 1 schools
- Interests include: scaling up research-based practices in schools, instructional design for reading, math, and writing, and responsiveness to intervention
Current Research:
- National Survey investigating K-2 general educators’ use of research-based programs for reading and math
- Series of single-subject studies investigating effectiveness of inservice plus coaching on teachers’ use of research-based practices in reading and math
