The Praxis Series is an Educational Testing Service (ETS) program that provides tests and other services for states to use as part of their teacher licensure process.   Virginia requires all applicants for teacher licensure to submit passing scores on the Praxis I: Academic Skills Assessments.  Applicants in most endorsement areas must also pass the Praxis II: Subject Assessments.  Additional information on these tests and others offered by ETS is available at www.ets.org.   An Overview of Virginia Testing Requirements is available at www.ets.org/praxis/va.
