1 SAT taken after April 1, 1995 = 530 verbal, 530 math, 1100 total;

SAT taken before April 1, 1995 = 450 verbal, 510 math and 1000 total;

ACT taken after April 1 1995 = 24 composite, 22 math and 46 English plus reading;

ACT taken before April 1, 1995 = 21 composite, 21 math and 37 English plus Reading

2 532 is the total of the passing scores on the three required tests (Reading, Writing, Math).  You do not have to pass all three tests as long as the added test scores equal 532 or greater.

3  470 is the total of the passing scores on the Reading and Writing tests included in the VCLA, but you do not have to pass both tests as long as the added test scores equal 470 or greater.

4 Art - must pass before applying for licensure

   Inclusive early childhood, early childhood and elementary - required for full acceptance to MAT graduate program

   Middle Education - must pass both content area tests prior to beginning more than 12 hours of graduate course work

   Music - must take during student teaching

   PHETE - must pass before enrolling in KIN 683

   Secondary - must pass prior to beginning more than 12 hours of graduate course work

   Special Education - required for graduation
