Registering for Classes
Students cannot pre-register or register for "blocked" education courses unless they have met certain requirements. NOTE: Unblocking is not the same as an override. An override allows students to register for a course that is already full; it does not allow them to register for a blocked course.
A transfer or post-baccalaureate student who is not fully accepted can be temporarily unblocked to take blocked courses during the first semester. The student's status is changed back to "unaccepted" immediately after registering for the blocked courses.
Other students who are not fully admitted to teacher education by the start of a blocked course may file an appeal with the Admission, Retention, and Exit Committee. See the section on Appeals for details on this process.
