Child Abuse Prevention Training & Quiz

 

 

PLEASE NOTE: You will need to complete the online CAP training and pass the CAP quiz with a score of 7 points or more.

 

1.  Complete the Child Abuse Prevention Training

                        Click Here to take the Child Abuse Prevention Training

  •  Maintain a copy of your certificate with your portfolio.

 

2. Follow these steps to take the Child Abuse Prevention Quiz:

 

  • Log on to Blackboard at http://blackboard.jmu.edu
  • Login to Blackboard using your JMU User ID and Password.
  • Click on the green Organization Tab.
  • In the organization search box, type Education Support Center and click 'GO'.
  • Click the 'Enroll' button.
  • Type in the Access Code capquiz and click 'Submit'.
  • Click 'OK'.  (NOTE: If nothing happened when you clicked 'OK', log out and then log back in to Blackboard.  You should see the "Education Support Center" listed in the lower right-hand corner.  Click it and proceed with the next step.)
  • Click 'CAP Quiz' in the upper left-hand corner.
  • Click on 'Child Abuse Prevention Quiz' to begin the quiz.

 

NOTE:  If you need don't receive a score of 7 or more you must re-take the quiz after one week.  Follow steps 1 and 2, then click on 'Education Support Center' under your list of organizations and follow steps 8 and 9.

Internet Explorer 8 does not work with Blackboard timed tests because the timer will sometimes cover the right side of the screen.
