As of January 1, 2014 there will be:

  • a new assessment that will replace Praxis I called thePraxis Core Academic Skills for Educators Test
  • new passing scores for several Praxis II exams

The mission of the Education Support Center is to monitor admission to, and retention in, initial licensure programs; coordinate professional experiences; process documents for licensure; provide leadership to partnerships with institutions and school divisions; and, serve as a resource for information about professional education programs at James Madison University.
