I grew up with 7 younger brothers and sisters, graduated from Turner Ashby High School and have lived in the Dayton area most of my life. My husband, Roy, and I have been married for 40 years and blessed with the joy of our lives, our son Ryan. Ryan and his lovely bride, Ashley, were married on 8/8/08 and live in the Hinton area. Roy and Ryan also own and operate a furniture business in Hinton.
My employment with JMU (then Madison College) began on September 11, 1967 and I joined the College of Education in the Summer of 1985. I feel that I work with the best group of faculty and staff on campus! I am a devoted JMU Women's Basketball fan of many years. I also enjoy spending time with family and working in my flower beds.
