John has worked with all age groups in education from kindergarteners to graduate students.  He spent his K-12 career in Augusta County teaching all grade levels of science and mathematics. As a staff developer, John has presented locally, nationally, and internationally on the role of brain research in education and the creation of engaging classroom environments.  He lives in Waynesboro with his wife Danielle, a fellow educator, their daughter Tessa, and their two dogs, Angel and Forest.
