A conference by and for teachers, Pre-K through 6th grades

The Elementary Teacher Conference is an annual event hosted by the JMU Department of Early, Elementary, and Reading Education. It is a forum for students and educators from across the state to share information about effective classroom practice and how it is influenced by research and professional literature.  Held in late April, the one-day conference features a keynote speaker and a variety of workshop, panel, and research sessions.  Continuing education credit is available for ETC attendees.
