Course Transfer



When a matriculated JMU student wishes to take a course listed on the Virginia Community College System website, no signature is required by the General Education Office or the Major Department.  Application forms should be submitted to the Office of the Registrar (MSC 3528). 

If the transfer course is taken from a school not listed on the VCCS site (any four year institution or community college outside the Commonwealth of Virginia), signatures by the General Education Office and/or Major Department are required.
