Consider a Making a Gift to the College of Education
The College of Education has a rich history at James Madison and has been preparing future educators and educational leaders for over a century. Your financial support ensures the preservation of the high quality Madison Experience that you lived when you were a JMU student. Please consider supporting the College of Education with an annual gift or make an endowed gift, which will have lasting impact on students, faculty and programs that reach the community.
You can support the College of Education through:
- Annual Giving - Gifts designated to College of Education fund or one of our specific department funds. A gift of $1,000 will qualify you as a member of JMU’s premier giving society the President’s Council, but gifts of any amount are welcome! These gifts have a direct and immediate impact on students, faculty, and programs within the college: Meet Katie Schwizer
- Planned Giving - You may wish to include JMU in your estate and use these funds to honor a professor, program, or the legacy you have created during your life’s work in the education field. These gifts can be used to create a specific endowment or simply supply general funds for the college.
- Major, Corporate and Foundation Giving - A gift of $25,000 or more will allow for the creation of an endowment for JMU’s College of Education. You may choose to create a scholarship to support our students or a faculty support endowment that allows for educational research projects that will continue to advance our field. There are a variety of special initiatives that can also be discussed with our development representative. These endowments, once established, will exist in perpetuity and have a lasting impact on Madison students for years to come.
