Eighth Annual Area Youth Art Exhibition - 2015

Over 100 works of 2- and 3-dimensional art created by area PreK-12 students fill the first and second floor hallways in Memorial Hall.  This year’s exhibit features the work of Rockingham County Public Schools, and it will be on display from February 22 through December 14, 2015.  Art teachers select some of their students’ best work for this open exhibition, which includes a wide range of media:  paintings, drawings, ceramics, sculpture, photography and mixed media.  New this year is a select exhibit of North Korean Refugee Youth Artwork, the first showing of refugee art in the CoE.  It is included in the larger exhibit, and it will be on display from February 22 through September 18, 2015; then the exhibit will move to the Prism Gallery, Festival, from October 1-31, before returning to the CoE.  Both exhibits are made possible with support from the Office of the Dean.

Free and open to the public during regular building hours.
