Academic Credit

Academic Credit

Academic credit is available to individuals completing the JMU NETS▪T Certification Program Evaluator Training course (3 cr) as well as for successful completion of either the Attaining Your JMU NETS▪T Certification course (3 cr) or attainment of the JMU NETS▪T Certificate (3 cr). Academic credit cannot be awarded to an individual for both the Attaining Your JMU NETS▪T Certification course and attainment of the JMU NETS▪T Certificate.

In some cases, academic credit earned through the JMU NETS▪T Certification program may be transferred into a degree granting program, such as the JMU Master's in Educational Technology. This decision is made on a case by case basis.

Award of recertification points is done at the discretion of the school division. Upon request, JMU will provide documentation of program participation or completion, as is appropriate.. For additional information regarding academic credit and programmatic issues, contact Rich Ingram (ingramre@jmu.edu).
