InternshipsInternships can enhance your resume and job prospects and, in some cases, can be taken for academic credit. The hospitality and tourism management program is the only one that requires internship experience. However, if you join a CoB program, we strongly recommend that you pursue an internship for a number of reasons.
If you are interested in pursuing an internship in your major for academic credit, you must contact the relevant internship coordinator to determine the prerequsites and registration procedure. The College of Business sets minimum requirements for all internships. Individual academic program requirements may exceed these, so make sure to contact the relevant program listed below for additional information.
You must meet the following CoB requirements to receive credit for your internship:
Internships in more than one program are permitted; however, double counting (i.e., receiving credit for one experience in more than one major) is not permitted. Some CoB majors have additional internships requirements. Contact the appropriate internship coordinator for more information about interning for your academic program.
