Michael Quinn is a lecturer in the Marketing Department at James Madison University. He currently teaches Introduction to Business and serves on the General Education Council, and the Information Literacy Advisory Board. Prior to teaching at JMU, Michael worked for ITT Sheraton, and Micros Systems. Michael earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, and a Master of Business Administration from JMU. In 2008 he earned the Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE) designation from the American Hotel and Lodging Association and he is currently taking classes towards a PhD in Foodservice and Lodging Management at Iowa State University. His research interests include Hospitality Sustainability, Lodging Operations, and Hospitality Finance.
