Dr. Kyle A. Huggins is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at James Madison University. He received a BS in Psychology and an MBA from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee and a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.

Dr. Huggins's research interests focus on consumer research, especially in the areas of consumer subcultures, intergenerational brand loyalty, and nutrition information provision. His research has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Consumer Research, American Journal of Public Health, Journal of Consumer Affairs, and numerous AMA conference proceedings. Dr. Huggins's research has won multiple awards including Best Conference Paper at the 2004 Marketing and Public Policy Conference, as well as Best Paper Awards in the Marketing and Society Track at the 2005 and 2006 Winter AMA Educators' Conferences. For this work as a graduate student, he was selected as the 2006 AMA Sheth Doctoral Consortium Fellow for the University of Arkansas. Dr. Huggins also serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for the Journal of Consumer Research and the Association for Consumer Research conferences.

Dr. Huggins's current teaching interests include Retail Marketing, Marketing Strategy, and Consumer Behavior. As a graduate student teacher at the University of Arkansas, he won the 2005 Walton College of Business Award for Excellence in Teaching and the campus wide 2005 Baum Teaching Award. Before becoming a professor, Dr. Huggins worked in various business capacities for The Pictsweet Company and Campbell Hausfeld, both located in his home state of Tennessee.
