The opportunity to build relationships with JMU students, particularly COB students is a great privilege for me. The combination of my full-time role in university administration and my part-time teaching responsibilities make JMU a very fulfilling place for me to work.

My dissertation research focused on creating assessment of leadership training as well as creating and evaluating organizational leadership competencies.

Experience
I am currently the Assistant Vice President for HR, Training & Performance. As such, I am part of the team that includes Human Resources, University Training, and Strategic Alliances. I am also working with the President's office to explore new innovation models for JMU. Privately, I work as a consultant in the areas of strategic management, leadership, training, and conflict resolution.
