Jobs and Internships

Jonathan Cedeno

"JMU’s International Business (IB) program gave me the foundation needed to pursue an internship outside of the U.S. During the summer of 2016, I worked for a farming cooperative named CoopeAgri R.L. located in Costa Rica. I worked with a team to develop a global marketing plan for a new cocoa project they were implementing. This internship required me to use many different skills that I learned through the IB program, from Business Law concepts to culture differences I acquired in International Management. The various team projects in which I participated throughout the IB program prepared me with the tools necessary work successfully with my team and contribute to the organization. I am very happy that I chose JMU’s IB program since it has prepared me to achieve my goals." - Jonathan Cedeno, JMU '16
