Starting Fall Semester 2008, the minimum g.p.a. for admission to the college of business and COB 300 will be raised to a 2.8!  Students must achieve a 2.8 cumulative grade point average, as well as a minimum of a 2.8 g.p.a. in the COB prerequisite courses.  These courses include:

COB 191. Business and Economic Statistics

COB 202. Interpersonal Skills

COB 204. Computer Information Systems

COB 218. Legal Environment of Business

COB 241. Financial Accounting

COB 242. Managerial Accounting

COB 291. Introduction to Management Science

ECON 201. Principles of Economics

GECON 200. Introduction to Macroeconomics (Gen. Ed., Cluster 4)

MATH 205, 205E or 235. (Gen. Ed., Cluster 3)

In order to complete your degree with a major in Hospitality & Tourism Management, students must meet these college of business requirements and complete COB 300.
