We anticipate offering the following courses during Summer 2010:
The Department of Finance and Business Law welcomes two new faculty members for the fall semester, Ms. Ann Zhang and Dr. Hui He. Both faculty members will be joining our faculty as Assistant Professors of Finance.
Dr. Hui He is originally from the Peoples Republic of China. She earned her B.A. in English and international Studies at the China Foreign Affairs University in 2001 in Beijing, China, and her M.A. in International Trade and Investment Policy at the George Washington University in 2003. Dr. He received her PhD in Finance at George Washinton University in 2008. Dr. He was a Visiting Assitant Professor in Finance during the 2008-09 academic year at James Madison University. Dr. He's teaching and research interests are in international finance and investments. Dr. He will be teaching FIN355, FIN371 and FIN455.
Ms. Yan (Ann) Zhang is also originally from the Peoples Republich of China. She earned her Bachelor's degree in International Economics and Trade from Beijing University, and her master in Social Sciences with a concentration in Maths Behaviors from UCLA in 2003. She is currently completing her PhD in Finance at Indiana University. Ms. Zhang's teaching and research interests are corporate finance and international finance. Ms. Zhang will be teaching FIN365 this coming academic year.
The Department of Finance and Business Law welcomes David Parker, Esq., to the faculty. Mr. Parker joined the faculty in January 2009 as an Assistant Professor of Business Law. Mr. Parker is an attorney in Harrisonburg and a Staff Judge Advocate for the 29th Infantry Division, Virginia Army National Guard. David Parker received his B.A. from the Cirginia Military Institute in 1986 and earned his J.D. at the T. C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond in 1989. Mr. Parker also completed the Judge Advocate General's School on Military Law in 1996, with the L.L.M.
