Ph.D. in Economics, George Mason University

Before coming to JMU, Dr. Bob Subrick was Research Associate at the Center for Institutional Reform and the Informal Sector at the University of Maryland and Associate Director of the Center for the Economic Study for Religion at George Mason University. He has worked in the areas of economic development, economics of religion, political economy, and the history of economic thought.

Subrick has published nearly two dozen articles in academic journals. He is currently working on two books. The first is an economic history of Botswana. The second will focus on the economic history of Brazil.
