Professional Background

Certified Public Accounting Firm:  Consultant to a Northern Virginia Certified Public Accounting firm preparing individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns and various schedules.  Compiled client accounting data and prepared related workpapers.  Evaluation, selection, and installation of various software programs and providing training for employees and clients in the use of various software applications. 

Private Consulting, Service, & Retail Corporation:  Corporate Financial Manager for multi Business Corporation.  Responsible for development of a statistical accounting procedure for use on in-house computer.  Customized and installed professional accounting software package, including training of employees. Responsibilities included all accounting functions including payroll.  When first employed with the company there was one corporation with five offices doing $2.3 million in sales; acquisitions and growth expanded this to three corporations with 16 offices and various partnerships doing in excess of $8.5 million in sales.
