Ehsan Ahmed, Department Head: Recipient of the 2010-11 Business Community Service Award in JMU's College of Business; recipient of the 2002 Madison Scholar for research achievement in JMU's College of Business; recipient of the Business Community Service Award in JMU's College of Business 1995-96.
T. Windsor Fields, Professor of Economics: Recipient of the 2003-04 Distinguished Teacher Award in JMU's College of Business.
Scott Milliman, Associate Professor of Economics: Recipient of the 2006-07 Distinguished Teacher Award in JMU's College of Business.
J. Barkley Rosser, , Jr., Professor of Economics and holder of the Kirby L. Kramer, Jr. Chair of Business Administration: Selected as one of the State Council for Higher Education in Virginia (SCHEV) Outstanding Faculty members for 2011; recipient of the 2006 Outstanding Professional Service Award in JMU's College of Business; recipient of the 2004 Best Pedagogical Paper in JMU's College of Business; appointed Editor of the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization in 2002.
