The Phoenix Project

The Phoenix Project serves as a catalyst for social innovation by igniting entrepreneurial solutions through educating future entrepreneurs, convening leaders to forge paths to innovation, partnering different stakeholders committed to innovation and consulting with organizations to promote entrepreneurship.  The project hosts programs and conventions for both students and professionals to accomplish these efforts.

Social Innovation Program

The Social Innovation program is a cutting edge program designed to help prepare undergraduate and graduate students to become the next generation of entrepreneurs. The program takes place over six weeks in the summer and combines in-class learning with a mixture of consulting activities for community organizations.

Scholarships

Scholarships are available through the Center for Entrepreneurship! Complete the Scholarship Application Form after being accepted to the Phoenix Project and submit to Carol Hamilton at cfe@jmu.edu. The scholarship deadline has passed for Summer 2011.
