  Jon Craver - EIR

Jon Craver ('83)

Partner at Accenture (retired)

Jon Craver is a retired Senior Managing Director from Accenture where he held several key leadership positions for Hospitality, Media & Entertainment and High Tech clients. Jon led consulting and outsourcing for major companies such as Verizon, AOL, MCI, Marriott, Hilton, FedEx and UPS and started and led Accenture’s accelerator for entrepreneurs in the Metro Washington D.C. region. Jon received his B.S. in Manage-ment Information Systems from JMU.  In his senior year at JMU, he was co-captain of the football team, Defensive Player of The Year and Male Scholar Athlete of The Year. While completing his Masters of Systems Engineering at the University of Virginia, he played professional NFL and CFL football for two years.

Eric Major - EIR

Eric Major ('91)

President & CEO, K2M

Eric Major has served as President, Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder and a member of the Board of Directors of K2M (KTWO) since January 2004. A serial entrepreneur, Mr. Major has over 20 years of experience in the spine industry and was the 2010 recipient of the Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Emerging Tech-nologies in the Greater Washington, D.C. region. Mr. Major is a member of the AdvaMed CEO Advisory Council and is active in the local community, serving on the Loudon Small Business Development Center Board of Directors, as well as the Board of Trustees for the Westmoreland Davis Memorial Foundation, Inc., a local, historic preservation organization. Mr. Major holds a B.S. in Political Science from James Madison University and is a member of the JMU College of Business Advisory Board.

Jeff Pompeo serves as President and CEO of Care Taker Medical and has a long career working with both large corporations and start-up technology firms. He is a serial entrepreneur with a proven track record for growing and monetizing technology-driven companies from inception to exit. Jeff has fifteen years of experience building world-class teams and growth strategies for MedTech start-ups, University spin-outs, Engineering & Telecom firms, and Technology Service Providers. Jeff has a BA in Computer Information Systems from James Madison University and a MBA from Virginia Tech.

John Rothenberger

John Rothenberger (’88)

Founder & CEO of SE Solutions

John Rothenberger has founded two successful companies that have been leaders in the IT industry. SE Solutions works with the Department of Homeland Security to provide IT solutions that address the intelligence shortcomings identified by the 9/11 Commission. Prior to starting SE Solutions, Rothenberger founded an IT company named Aspire Technology Groupand served as its president from 1993 to early March 2000. Aspire was recognized with numerous growth awards including a 1998 "Forbes" magazine Inc. 500 (No. 334),1998 Virginia Fantastic 50 (No. 4), a KPMG High-Tech Entrepreneur of the Year nominee and a 1994 Fairfax County New Business of the Year runner up. Rothenberger graduated from JMU in 1988 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing. He is a member of the College of Business Executive Advisory Council. Rothenberger is also a University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business Fellow. He is Jmu's first entrepreneur in residence and the current chair of the advisory board for the Center for Entrepreneurship.

Kevin Tucker - EIR

Owner & President of SOLitude Lake Management Company

Kevin Tucker started SOLitude Lake Management in 1998 to focus on the growing need for adequate management of lakes and storm water retention ponds and the preservation of our natural resources. He is an active member of many leading trade and professional organizations and remains on the cutting edge of product, service, and technology improvements in the aquatics industry. He is a regularly published author for many industry-related publications. Mr. Tucker holds a degree in business management with a concentration in finance from James Madison University. He is widely recognized as an expert in the management of lakes, ponds and other freshwater systems, as well as the management of invasive aquatic plants.
