Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest national recognition a student can receive in an undergraduate or master's program in business or management accredited by the AACSB. To be eligible for membership, a student must rank in the upper 7 percent of the junior class, upper 10 percent of the senior class, or upper 20 percent of the graduating master's class. In addition, an undergraduate student must have at least have a 3.60 cumulative GPA.  There is no higher honor than to graduate "Beta Gamma Sigma."

These students are named by the faculty of their schools. Their selection not only recognizes academic achievement, but also expresses confidence in the students' abilities and promise to become outstanding business leaders in the future.

Contact Molly G. Brown, Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs, for more information on joining Beta Gamma Sigma, at brownmg@jmu.edu or (540) 568-1697.
