Applying to MSA Program


General Application Procedure
Apply online through The Graduate School website at http://www.jmu.edu/grad/prospective/

  • Complete the official graduate application form
  • Submit resume online
  • Submit the $55 nonrefundable fee*
    *Applications will not be processed without application fees. Fee waivers are not acceptable.


The following information should be mailed to The Graduate School:

  • Official transcripts, in individually sealed envelopes, from all previously attended institutions.
  • The official standardized GMAT test scores sent directly from the testing center. The code for the MS in Accounting program at JMU is 50P-NS-38. TGS mailing address:

Application Deadlines
The Graduate School has a rolling admission policy. However, to guarantee your application will be reviewed in time to meet your anticipated date of registration, you should submit your completed application by the following dates:

Fall semester - July 1

Spring semester - November 1

  Summer semester - April 1
