General Manager, The Ritz-Carlton Club Aspen Highlands

Mr. DiMeglio is a well-rounded executive leader with comprehensive skills in Sales & Marketing, Rooms Operations, F &B Operations, Spa, Golf, Ski operations and Finance. He has extensive experience with independent resorts as well as branded properties. 

He currently serves as General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Club, Aspen Highlands. As an inspirational and dedicated leader, he has achieved superior Guest, Member and Employee Engagement scores and increased revenues while achieving annual budgets. He is a key Member of the Aspen Highlands community.  In 2011 and 2014 he was awarded General Manger of the year.  He has also served as Area General Manager and Vice President for the Ritz-Carlton Clubs and Residences and has played a key role in developing Brand Standards, Operational Strategies, Asset Protection Plans and Long Range plans. His duties as Vice President included operations for 10 Clubs, 5 Residences, Golf (36 holes), 8 F&B outlets, 4 spas, Operating Budget of $110 million and Asset Management for a $2 billion portfolio.

As General Manager of the Williamsburg Inn, located in Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia, he improved the Leading Hotels of the World quality score from 78% to 88% in 2006 and improved revenues by 15.6% in 2005. He managed 12 Food & Beverage outlets, increased quality standards, and lowered labor costs. In 2006, the Regency Dining Room earned several awards, including the Dirona, 4 Star, 4 Diamond, and the Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence. Mr. DiMeglio was also inducted into the Nation’s Restaurant News – Fine Dining Hall of Fame. He acted as the Asset Manager and a leading member of the design team for a new 30,000 sq. ft. spa, fitness center and pool complex, which was named to Condé Nast Traveler’s Hot List Top 10. He managed the Tennis program, lawn bowling, 2 fitness centers and assisted in developing a business strategy for the Golden Horseshoe golf course (45 holes), which has a 5 star rating. The resort earned a Condé Nast Traveler Golf Resort ranking of 51st in the world. 

Mr. DiMeglio demonstrates strong community leadership as a philanthropic citizen and active participant on several Association Boards. His hobbies include golf, skiing, surfing, swimming, food, and wine. He is an alumnus of James Madison University and Member of their Hospitality and Tourism Advisory Board. He is a sommelier through the Sommelier Society of America, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Nicholas and his wife, Martha, currently reside in Snowmass Village, Colorado.
