CoB Department Reps Raise $200 for Management

It had the excitement of an ebay auction, said Aaron Graham, one of CoB’s newly appointed department representatives. He was referring to a recent raffle that raised $200 for CoB’s management department. The department reps raffled several items, and students and faculty purchased tickets to support their departments. Management supporters donated the most and were awarded the cash raised.

The CoB briefcase was the hottest item. Will Roth, a finance major was waiting anxiously nearby when his name was drawn and announced as the winner of the briefcase. CoB golf shirts, a portfolio and a mug engraved with the college’s logo were also raffled.

The first CoB department representatives were inaugurated this year. Their goal is to act as liaisons to CoB and the university for their respective junior or senior class now and beyond graduation. After this May, 2008 alumni can keep the university abreast of job news, promotions, marriages and more by staying in touch with their department reps.
