Oct 1: COB 300 Applications due to the Academic Serivces Center for Spring and Summer Semester 2010.  JMU Degree progress report must be submitted with you application.

Oct 1: "Leadership in the Age of Obama," JMU Visiting Scholar: Gail T. Fairhurst, University of Cincinnati, 6:30 p.m., CISAT/HHS 1302.

Oct 10: Family Weekend, COB Reception in Showker Hall Lobby 2 hours prior to game start.

Oct 12: Second block courses begin

Oct 14: David M. Kreutzer, Heritage Foundation, "The Economic Impact of Climate Legistlation: Postage Stames or Car Payments?" 4PM, ZSH 105.

Oct 15: Last day to declare or change a major in the Collge of Business (applies to both business and non-business majors).

Oct 17: JMU Homecoming, COB Reception in Showker Hall Lobby 2 hours prior to game start.

Oct 21: COB Awards Banquet, Festival Ballroom, Awards ceremonies 6:00 PM, Reception 6:30 PM, Dinner 7:00 PM.

Oct 22: End of Course Adjustment

Oct 28: Dr. Tom Dillon, Madison Scholar Lecture Series, "Office Computer and Email Privacy Is Somebody Watching You?" 3:30PM, ZSH 242.  Reception to follow after the presentation.

Oct 29: Study Abroad Information Session for CoB students. ZSH 107. There will be 7 sessions starting at 6PM on different trips to Spain, Peru, Antwerp, China, Turkey & Greece, and the Philippines.  A Q&A hosted by the Office of International programs about the programs will follow at 7:45PM.
