Spring Semester 2013

Jan. 7 - Classes meet as scheduled.

Jan. 21 - Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday. Classes do not meet.

Jan. 23 - The Gilliam Center for Free Enterprise and Ethical Leadership will sponsor its first lecture of the semester. Dr. Anne Bradley of the Institute for Faith, Work, and Economics will speak on “Why does income inequality exist” in ISAT/CS 136 at 7:00 p.m. Dr. Bradley is a graduate of JMU.

Feb. 5 - Plan to attend an information session to learn more about business. Zane Showker Hall, Room 104, 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Feb. 9 - Student Diversity Council Presents a Leadership Diversity Conference: "Leading in a Multicultural Society" 

Feb. 26 - The Department of Finance and Business Law presents "Financial Planning for Graduating Seniors" by Daniel O. Uribe of Good Wealth Management at 7:00 p.m. in Showker 105

March 1 - Deadline to sumibt scholarship applications. 

March 4-8 - Spring Break. Classes do not meet.

March 11 - Classes resume. Fourth Block courses begin.

March 14 - "Interactive Discussion: Real World Examples of Conflict Management" by COB EAC Member Courtney Bromley, IBM Vice President, Homeland Security and Law Enforcement at 6:15 p.m. in Showker 105 

March 15 - James Madison Day

April 26 - Last day of classes.

April 29 - May 3 - Final examinations. 

May 3 - Graduate Commencement 

May 4 - Undergraduate Commencement
