Endowed Faculty Support

Contribute to one of these Endowed Faculty Support funds or establish a new one: Faculty Chairs begin at $1,000,000; Professorships at $250,000; fellowships at $100,000; and Faculty Support Funds at $25,000. Contributions of any amount may be added to an established fund. This naming opportunity may be established with $5,000 annually for five years.

 

Faculty Chairs

Jackson Ramsey Centennial Chairs was established in 2003 by a gift from JMU alumni Joseph F. ('76, '77) & Pamela C. ('77) Damico in honor of Dr. Jackson E. Ramsey, a former CoB professor.

Kirby L. Cramer Jr. Chair of Business Administration was established in 1987 by a gift from Kirby L. Cramer Sr.

Accenture Term Professorship

Adolph Coors Foundation Eminent Scholars Professorship was established in 1991 by a gift from the Adolph Coors Foundation.

Kenneth R. Bartee Endowed Professorship

CSX Eminent Scholars Distinguished Professorship was established in 1990 by a gift from the CSX Corporation.

Entrepreneurship Professorship

J. Gray Ferguson Endowed Professorship in Finance

Journal of Accounting Education Eminent Scholars Professorship

J. Willard Marriott Foundation Eminent Scholars Professorship in Hospitality Management was established in 1993 by the Marriott Corporation

KPMG Endowed Professorship in Accounting - KPMG Foundation

KPMG Peat Marwick Accounting Professorship was established in 1994 and is annually funded by JMU alumni and supporters at KPMG

PricewaterhouseCoopers/Dan Caputo Memorial Professorship was established in 1998 by PricewaterhouseCoopers

Wallace Chandler/Universal Corporation Eminent Scholars Professorship in Banking was established in 1989 through the contribution of Wallace Chandler and the UniversalCorporation of Richmond

Wampler-Longacre Eminent Scholars Professorship in Marketing was founded in 1987 by a contribution from the Wampler-Longacre Corp.

Wheat First Professorship

Zane D. Showker Eminent Scholars Professorship of Entrepreneurship was created in 1989
