Mission Statement:
The Ukrainian Humanitarian Demining Task Force, a Unit of the Ukrainian Peacekeepers Association is accredited by the Demining Center of the Ministry of Defense of the Ukraine as a demining organization and is duly competent and capable of effectively planning and conducting humanitarian demining works in accordance with standing international safety and reliability requirements. The issues of mine clearance and demining remain a priority in international mine action. In their efforts to clear mine-contaminated areas and enable the return of communities to normal life, both donor and mine-affected states require information about and direct participation of professionals to deal with these tasks. The operational planning procedures and practical fulfillment of works by the UHDTF are in a strict accordance with the International Mine Action Standards (IMAS) and UN/International Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that are based on international standards related to humanitarian demining operations and the UN Mine Action Service's guidelines.
