Surveys to conduct:

Evaluation of the Impact of UNDP support in Mine Action, with the purposes of:

Organizational learning, Accountability, and testing of impact evaluation techniques for assessing development support at country and community levels.

Specific duties: coordinate and facilitate meetings with local authorities and communities for field studies, interviews with communities, translation from and into (English, Portuguese, Changana and Shona), notes taking and assistance in report compilation

ANASMO- Associao dos Sapadores de Moambique (Mozambican Deminers Association) Planning and Projects Manager

The rights of people (Victims of landmines and Explosives Remnants of War) and recognition of demining efforts put on humanitarian assistance, country reconstruction and recovery, rural life improvement and governance, and conflict prevention for nearly two decades of work in Mozambique are the drive of ANASMO.

My primary role is the provision of overall direction to ASAMO in accordance with objectives under which the organization was founded.

Achievements: The project is still in its formulation phase. However, we have already an Action Plan submitted to the President of Mozambique for Humanitarian Affairs.

Demining Consultant CFM (Mozambique Railways)

The primary role was to support a team of lawyers (GLM) with relevant information regarding mine clearance quality of SENA Railway clearance that resulted in three accidents involving an international consortium.

The aim was to gather relevant technical information and assist the lawyers in preparation of a report to support Mozambique in the International Arbitral Trial.

The consultancy with CONGESQ was aimed at improvement of field procedures, documentation and management quality of the NGO to clients satisfaction. The NGO works with road reconstruction companies in the north on Mozambique.
