Focal point and technical advisor for logistics in the project; managed a monthly budget of 36,600 (euros) and a team of 40 logistics staff

Supported medical activities in one field hospital (including emergency, maternity, in-patient care, and 24-hour ambulance service) and three field clinics (out-patient care) in four refugee resettlement camps through managing logistical resources

Collaborated with medical team to plan, execute, and follow up on three rounds of Intermittent Preventative Treatment (IPT) malaria prophylaxis distributions averaging 95% coverage or 13,500 children under 15 per round; logistics initiatives included:

Pre- and post-distribution site construction and dismantling of temporary structures for 13 sites, required hiring 10 additional workers

Incorporating additional transportation into the fleet for increased workload in addition to ensuring transportation access for regular project activities

Arranging with local leaders for site security throughout the process

Ensuring availability of water and other materials throughout the distribution

Devised a cholera response plan for logistics involving several strata of action and response kits; enacted the base level intervention after receiving suspected cases, which included the construction of a temporary cholera ward and staff training

Conducted exploratory assessment of Old Fangak (Jonglei, South Sudan) in order to determine the logistical needs, the security situation, and projected regional stability, as well as collaborate with medical assessor

Submitted report upon completion of analysis, assessment was approved and project was opened at the end of 2014
