Master of Science- Nursing
The James Madison University Department of Nursing offers a Master of Science in Nursing degree with role options of family, adult or geriatric l nurse practitioner or nurse educator . The program is 35 credits for the nurse educator concentration or 43 to 46 for the nurse practitioner concentration. Students are admitted for full-time or part-time study. Full-time students complete the nurse practitioner program infour academic semesters. An optional three-credit practicum is available to qualify for dual adult and geriatric l certification. The nurse educator concentration can be completed in three full-time semesters.
