College Student Personnel Administration
College Student Personnel Administration (CSPA) is a special concentration in the Counseling Psychology area and leads to a 36 semester hour Master of Education degree. The program provides students with basic theory and training in the administration of student services in higher education. A unique aspect of the program is its link to the psychology department and its requirement of basic counseling courses. All students enrolled in this program have graduate assistantships in the Division of Student Affairs for a 2 year period. Comprehensive examinations are taken in the second year. The CSPA program has its own handbook for the more detailed requirements of the program. Students should contact the CSPA program office for more information.
