Notice for the Deaf

The Chemistry REU site at JMU will support 10 undergraduate chemistry researchers. It is anticipated the two or more of these students will be hearing-impaired. In addition, there may be one or two hearing-impaired high school students and a high school teacher of the deaf in the program. We have extensive experience in our REU program with deaf students and will have professional and student sign interpreters working in the labs.
