Schedule of Events

 

Friday, October 28

 

2-3 pm

Tours of the Physics and Chemistry Building led by faculty members.

Refreshments in the atrium provided by the Office of the President.

 

3-3:30 pm

Grand Opening Ceremony with the Office of the President.

•  Speakers will be President Rose, Dean Brakke, Dr. Amenta and Dr. Whisnant.

 

4-5 pm

Keynote Speaker in ISAT 159.

•  "Living in a Materials World" presented by John Powers, Class of 1984, Conoco Phillips.

 

5 pm

Reception in ISAT NTelos room (ISAT 259).  Alumni are invited.

 

Saturday, October 29

 

10:00 am

Continental breakfast in third floor atrium and room 3348.

 

10:30 am-12 pm

Roundtable discussions led by alumni.

PARKING:  Parking will be available in the D2 lot, located directly across Carrier Drive from the Physics/Chemistry building, starting Friday at noon and continuing through Saturday.  No special passes are necessary.
