Physics and Chemistry Building

The Physics and Chemistry Building is located in the Skyline area of campus. It is designed to meet the needs of undergraduate teaching and research.

Student Research

Our undergraduates conduct cutting edge research. Here, David Boyle ('17) and Cameron Stopak ('17) prepare an ultra-high vacuum chamber for an experiment in Dr. Ashleigh Baber's materials lab.

Student Organizations

Alpha Chi Sigma and the Student Affiliate ACS are professional chemistry organizations that are committed to giving back to the community. Here, they raise money for Relay-For-Life with the annual pie-a-professor event.

Student Awards

Each spring, the department awards students for their performance in the classroom, the research laboratory and service to the department
