Workshops
Teaching workshops allow faculty to develop or enhance foundational skills, knowledge, and competencies related to teaching. Participants are provided the opportunity to apply evidence-based concepts, trends, and ideas to current and future courses. Workshops are generally facilitated by JMU faculty for JMU faculty.
Teaching Workshops are designed for faculty to make progress toward the following outcomes:
- Experience pedagogy appropriate to the session; and
- Have the opportunity to actively apply the session content to their teaching.
