First Year Reading

Do you want to BE a part of the first academic experience students have at JMU? Of course you do! The First Year Reading Program on Thursday, August 20 from 1:00-2:30 pm gives students and faculty the opportunity to engage intellectually in a common experience. This year's reading is The DNA Age by Amy Harmon (as published by the New York Times). You don't have to be a scientist to guide students through an exploration of morality, ethics, personal privacy, or a variety of other issues.
