Did you know that you can access all sorts of streaming videos, audio clips, digital images, and SO MANY other resources directly from the JMU library website? You can even do this from the comfort of your own home and wait, there is more!! Not only can you view these resources, your students can as well. Join us for this interactive workshop where you will learn more than just how to connect via your VPN client. You will understand how to access a variety of resources, teach your students to access this bountiful array of digital goodies, AND learn how to import these resources into your Blackboard course. So... save room for some yummy digital treats, baked fresh by your favorite liaison librarians!

Kathy Clarke, Associate Professor in JMU Libraries & Educational Technologies. Kathy has served as the Business Librarian since 1999 and also serves as a liaison to University Studies. Kathy was co-chair of the planning committee for the May 2006, Information Literacy for Teaching and Learning Workshop for Faculty and Librarians. She will present a session this spring at the Association for College and Research Libraries annual conference - Anchoring Assignment Design in Information Literacy. Kathy teaches in the Honors Program and guest lecturers in COB. (B.S. Ed, University of North Texas/M.L.S University of Maryland).


Claire Clemens, Associate Professor in JMU Libraries & Educational Technologies. Claire has served as the Education Librarian since 2001 and is the liaison to the Center for Faculty Innovation. Claire was co-chair of the planning committee for the May 2006, Information Literacy for Teaching and Learning Workshop for Faculty and Librarians. She will present a session this spring at the Association for College and Research Libraries annual conference - Anchoring Assignment Design in Information Literacy. Claire teaches in Foreign Language Department and guest lectures in COE. (M.A. German Language & Literature, Middlebury College/M.L.I.S. University of South Carolina).
