Description

Our classrooms are becoming more diverse in regards to the population of learners and educators, the learning environments, and the contexts of learning. Our world is becoming more accessible, and so must our teaching and learning opportunities. In this workshop we will explore the principles of universal design, universal design for learning, and the concept of a one-room schoolhouse--a learning environment designed for access, opportunity, engagement and growth for all.
