In an effort to support your ongoing development as a teacher, scholar and active member of the JMU communicty, the Center for Faculty Innovation has produced this website highlighting the wide array of professional opportunities available during the week of May 5-9. This annual May Symposium compiles a variety of experiences ranging from weeklong institutes to workshops on various topics such as learner-centered teaching and information literacy. Events are sponsored by Center for Faculty Innovation, Center for Instructional Technology, Office of Research & Public Service, Community Learning, Faculty Research Council, Counseling & Student Development Center, Office of Sponsored Programs, University Writing Center, JMU Libraries, General Education Program and the Graduate School. Facilitators include members of the JMU community as well as invited guest experts. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for many of the events. Please register now!
