Qualtrics: Conducting Online Surveys

Need help with producing online surveys and using the results? Produce professional online surveys and obtain customized results with Qualtrics, a web-based survey tool. At this workshop, participants will develop an understanding of the Qualtrics interface, question types, and survey options. The workshop will also include tips, best practices, and policies for conducting online surveys.
Participants will:
- Describe the principles of creating effective online surveys.
- Create and distribute an online survey with Qualtrics.
- Identify and evaluate Qualtrics survey options.
- Operate data collection, result attainment, and data export with Qualtrics.

Facilitator Bio:
Dave Stoops has worked with the Center for Instructional Technology (CIT) for four years as both an educational technologist and a media specialist. He loves working with technology and especially finding ways to effectively include technology into the classroom. One tool that he feels works really well in the academic environment is Qualtrics. Dave says that qualtrics is designed well and offers an easy to use interface that will allow you to get from it what you put in. He also believes that Qualtrics is great not only for surveys, but also assessments (pre and post), quizzes, and tests. He is looking forward to working with Qualtrics and participants during this session and in the future.
