In this clip, Armstrong describes an assignment from GCOM that is designed to help students learn about different group’s conflict management styles. Students study a Native American example from the 1970s to see a “destructive” conflict. Then they must find three articles that show how healing outcomes could have been or were achieved. Students also have the option to choose other examples of cultural conflict from the recent past.
