Facilitators

Mark Mattson is an assistant professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at James Madison University. He successfully coerced the faculty at Virginia Tech to grant him a PhD in physics in 1994. He bounced around various educational institutions of higher learning before JMU took the decidedly unexpected action of hiring him in 2000 to help pilot the Science and Mathematics Learning Center. In 2009, despite the objections of certain clandestine agencies, he was transferred full-time into the physics department where he has continued his interest in innovative pedagogy. To this day, he maintains his innocence in all previous covert activities.
